Located near Arackappady village, Ponjassery is a town in the Ernakulam district of Cochin
city in the state of Kerala, India. It belongs to the Vengola gram panchayat of Ernakulam.
It is surrounded by Koovappady towards the East,
Vadavucode towards the South, Angamaly towards the North, and Parakkadav towards the west.
