Attingal is located in the Thiruvananthapuram (Trivandrum) metropolitan area in the
Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala, India. It is the headquarters of Chirayinkeezhu
Taluk. Attingal is spread across about 16.87 square kilometers and is situated at an
altitude of 23 m above sea level. According to the 2011 census, Attingal has a population of
