Mulavukad, which is locally known as Bolgatty Island, is one of the small towns that form
part of the district of Ernakulam in Kerala. It is a part of the Mulavukad Gram Panchayat.
Vypin island and Vallarpadam island lie on the west side of this town, and Vaduthala lies to
its east. Goshree bridge connects the island to Ernakulam and Vallarpadam, and the Container
