Perambur is a northern suburb of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Before Britain's law, it was commonly seen as a bamboo forest in the area around the Huzur Gardens, where the Simpsons Pvt. Ltd now resides. In 1742 CE, Chennai was attached to that town.
There are several venues in Perambur, including cinemas and parks. The first shopping center of northern Chennai is Perambur: the Spectrum Mall. There are several parks of importance, such as the Perambur Flyover Area, the Mahatma Gandhi Park, and Venus Park. Perambur has the first disco waterpark of Chennai — Murasoli Maran Park — packed over at special occasions and on weekends. Athletic games, annual sporting events, and planning meetings are also arranged at the Perambur Railway Stadium.

The cheapest way to reach the Chennai Moore Market Complex is via a local exchange service (EMU), to the Chennai Park station, and then to Tambaram and beyond on another local route. Cross the Street, and you're at the airport
in Tirusulam station. At the Central Metro, you can even check-in.
Another way to reach the airport is by car, depending on the availability of time, and board the metro to the airport, Egmore, Kilpauk, or Anne Nagar
East, which is 5–6 kilometers away from Perambur.
This district is well served by buses of the Metropolitan Transport Corporation to all areas of Chennai. It is a major transport hub due to its proximity to the Chennai central station. Perambur has a remarkable Indian Railway town as the home of Vande Bharat Express, which is produced at the Integral Coach Factory here as well as the presence of the Chennai Rail Museum, as well as the railway station, which serves as the main hub for long-haul trains through or through the town. After Royapuram, Perambur Railway Station is the oldest train station in the town.
