The oldest city bus service by AMTS serves Motera through stops of Motera Gam, Sahjanand Park, Indiranagar, Gandhivaas, Vishwakarma Mandir, Visat, etc. Private and sharing-based ‘shuttle’ auto rickshaws are always available here.

Apart from Ahmedabad Railway Station, the closest railway station Sabarmati Junction Railway Station, is located only 4.7KM from the Motera area. This junction connects the Gujarat state with the other major cities like Jodhpur, Varanasi, Kolkata, Delhi, and other popular cities in India. So, passengers can take a cab or auto from outside the station and reach the location easily. For bus transportation, one can take a bus from the Power House(7min walking distance from the station) and get down at the Motera Gam location.

The closest international airport is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. It is around 7.7Km away from Motera. Anyone can access the location from the airport via Gandhinagar-Ahmedabad Road and Motera Stadium Road easily. You can take a cab or auto accordingly. For the bus transportation system, passengers can take a bus from the Domestic airport location and then change the bus from Shahibaug Underbridge and then get down at Motera Gam.
