Kolenchery is a steadily growing town located on National Highway 49 (NH 49), 27 km east of Kochi in Ernakulam district of Kerala, India. Kolenchery was just a hamlet with the church, a handful of schools, and cinema theatre five decades ago. It was known outside as the home of contractors and real estate owners.
