Kasba is a town in the western part of Bengal, South Kolkata, India. The village stands in the South of the district, rounded by the Eastern Railways in the South, by the Sealdah South, on Dhakuria and Haltu, on the East Metropolitan Bypass North by Tiljala.
Kasba is basically known as "Helmet" in the Bengali language. Local believes that it works as a helmet for the people working in nearby leather industries of Tiljala and Tangra.
