Bopal is a neighbourhood in the Amdavad City Ahmedabad District of Gujarat, India. Bopal and Ghuma, a neighbouring village, were merged in 2015 and given municipality status. It is part of the Ghatlodiya election area for electoral purposes. In recent years, Bopal has seen an increase in infrastructure. AUDA now proposes to build a sports complex in South Bopal, complete with a swimming pool, tennis court, badminton court, volleyball court, football field, and other amenities. On Bhopal Main Road, which has been widened, there are two prominent landmarks: Umiya Mata Temple and Sarkari Tubewell. Both of these lakes are wide and feature a temple in the middle as a bonus attraction.
Bopal has a hot climate and receives slightly less rain than is required. Summer, monsoon, and winter are the three major seasons. The weather is arid, except for the monsoon season.
